The Herrin Bocce Club was incorporated as a not for profit corporation in the state of Illinois in 2002. The Herrin Bocce Club has a “Maintenance/Management Agreement” of the Herrinfesta Italiana Bocce Complex with the City of Herrin. The purpose of the Herrin Bocce Club is to promote the game of Bocce; maintain the Herrinfesta Italiana Bocce Complex; and coordinate the usage of the Bocce Complex. All revenues in excess of expenses and a “maintenance fund” which is to be determined by the Board of Directors shall be distributed annually for charitable purposes.
